You're amazing, don't stop being amazing. *Squishes your face unless you're not about that in which case I don't squish your face because I respect your value of personal space*

True story; this officer (John Pike) got a settlement of $38,000 because he said he got depressed after pepper spraying these kids. Oh, the depression wasn’t for feeling remorseful for pepper spraying a bunch of college kids peacefully protesting. He got depressed because he said since the media kept playing the video of him pepper spraying peaceful kids without cause, he got threats and didn’t feel safe. He didn’t feel safe. I’m not making that up. This motherfucker collected nearly 40 grand on worker’s comp after assaulting a bunch of college kids.

Notice that there’s a second officer (name I don’t know) who sees a woman in a coat with a camera/phone recording it and goes towards her and PULLS OUT HIS BATON/NIGHTSTICK. This person has done nothing but take maybe a step or two forward. They are not threatening, encroaching, anything and already another cop is USING FORCE to make sure someone couldn’t record up close what this cop was doing.
And the sad thing is?
The people who would need and should get compensation for mental health damage are the ones getting sprayed and I don’t see anyone passing around a plate so that these kids (or any of the protestors anywhere or communities in conflict with violent cops) get mental health care.

It is now 3 weeks since Michael Brown was murdered by Ferguson PD Officer Darren Wilson. Officer Darren Wilson still has not been arrested, charged, or even brought to prison or court for the murder of Michael Brown.
